Job Overview
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in overseeing the financial operations of multiple entities under the group, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and efficient coordination across departments. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex financial processes with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and review the work of accounting staff, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of financial records
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring reconciliations are completed accurately and on time
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, and inventory functions to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Ensure all financial reporting complies with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Coordinate with auditors and external consultants during audits and reviews
- Monitor and control accounting transactions across all business entities
- Assist the finance manager with budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis
- Identify process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and ensure data integrity
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role
- Strong understanding of IFRS and local accounting standards
- Experience with accounting software (Zoho Books, ERP Next, or similar)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
- Willingness to work overtime or travel occasionally as required
