Job Summary
The organization is seeking a motivated and results-driven sales representative to join its team in Erbil, Iraq. The role is responsible for driving sales growth, building strong client relationships, and expanding market presence. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales team and management to develop strategies, identify business opportunities, and deliver tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition & Retention: Identify and engage potential clients, actively prospecting through cold calls and visits to expand the customer base, while managing indoor sales for retail customers, gradually transitioning to outdoor sales, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers
- Product Knowledge & Technical Guidance: Provides customers with in-depth information on products and services, understands their requirements, and offers tailored product recommendations as needed
- Customer & Database Management: Maintain and update the customer database, register new clients, and ensure accurate data in both ERP and CRM systems. Prepare regular reports for management, maintain accurate sales records, and ensure timely follow-up with clients
- Order Management: Process customer orders and ensure timely delivery, coordinating with logistics to meet client expectations
- Customer Support Process: Prepare and deliver client quotations and offers, while managing financial transactions such as issuing cash receipts and invoices and ensuring the accurate completion of all related paperwork
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to ensure seamless service delivery
- Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets through effective prospecting and strategic account management
Requirements
- Education: A college diploma is required
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of sales experience, with a proven focus on developing new business and driving sales growth
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required, as it is the company’s official language; Native proficiency in Kurdish is mandatory, and Arabic at a high level is a plus
- Critical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and excellent telephone etiquette
- Stress Management: Ability to handle stressful situations and adapt to dynamic work environments
- Integrity: Strong business and personal ethics, emphasising honesty and loyalty
- Proactive Approach: Highly self-motivated, with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience with Expats: Previous experience working with expatriates is advantageous
- Driving License: A Valid commercial driver's license (manual car) is required, and a willingness to travel within the region
