Job Purpose
The Resource Administrator will support the department heads in developing a roster that is suitable for the operational needs. You will ensure staffing levels are enough to meet the contractual service level agreements of our customers, as well as ensuring we remain within budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities
Main accountabilities:
- Responsible for providing the operational team with adequate resources to deliver our service level agreements
- Responsible for the planning of staffing resource levels to ensure a seamless product is deliverable
- Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the staff roster, including but not limited to overtime, shift swaps, absences and re-rosters as required
- Identify additional daily hours required and notify the operation of the requirement, and administer these hours once authorised
- Ensure roster adheres to the Working Time Directive
- Record all sickness data
- Perform any other duties assigned by management
- Responsible for authorising and entering employee shift changes into the automated system
- Work with training departments and operational teams to help administer a plan for releasing staff to attend required training
- Adequate and timely roster publishing as per the given guideline
- Updating of rosters to ensure compliance and financial control
- Supporting the station management team in any other matters
- Issuing data and reports to support the operational teams in managing resources
- Assisting in any other request related to planning or resource management
- Take reasonable care for their health and safety and for the health and safety of others who may be affected by their actions or omissions whilst at work
- Co-operate with their Manager/Supervisor to allow them to perform or comply with any legal requirements imposed on the company
- Not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided by the company in the interests of health, safety or welfare reasons
- Inform their Manager/Supervisor of any work situation, equipment or activity that represents a serious or immediate danger to health and safety
- Report any hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents or dangerous occurrences to their Manager/Supervisor, who will then follow the procedures contained in this manual
- Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific workplace health and safety rules or procedures
- Fully understand the company's health and safety policy
- Attend training courses as may be arranged by the Company
- Engage with MORSE and follow our code principles
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Operational planning experience
- Excellent organizational, planning, and administrative skills and a good eye for detail
- Experience of working in a busy, sometimes high-pressure environment
- Experience and knowledge of aviation services within a service delivery environment
- Ability to communicate successfully at all levels
- Aptitude to develop the role as required to embrace new IT systems
- Development of communication and diplomacy skills used to direct/persuade/influence others
- Aptitude to work both as part of a team and independently
- Ability to uphold confidentiality
- Strong Customer service skills and experience
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office
