mselect is looking to hire a Project Manager for a real estate client in Dubai, UAE. Candidates must have 7–10 years of relevant experience in construction and fit-out projects, with at least 3–5 years in a project management role overseeing hospitality, commercial, retail, or corporate fit-outs. Fluency in English and Arabic is a must.

Job Purpose
The project manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of a new commercial fit-out project. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Leadership & Management:
  • Lead, plan, and manage multiple fit-out projects simultaneously (hospitality, commercial, retail, and corporate)
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and schedules in alignment with client requirements
  • Oversee all phases of project execution, from initiation to handover
2. Cost & Contract Management:
  • Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets, cash flow, and cost reports
  • Manage contracts, subcontracts, variations, and claims in compliance with company policies
  • Work with procurement teams to source materials, FF&E, and subcontractors within budget
3. Coordination & Communication:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
  • Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Chair regular project meetings and provide progress reports to senior management
4. Quality, Safety & Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations, health & safety standards, and building codes
  • Conduct quality inspections and resolve on-site issues promptly
  • Implement risk management strategies to minimize project risks and delays
5. Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor project engineers, site managers, and support staff
  • Allocate resources effectively and ensure team productivity
  • Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
  • Proven track record in delivering hospitality and commercial projects (hotels, restaurants, offices, malls, retail, etc)
  • Strong knowledge of fit-out construction, MEP coordination, joinery, and FF&E integration
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, and MS Office
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
