mselect is looking to hire a Marketing Manager for a FMCG client in Baghdad, Iraq. Candidates must have a minimum of 3-4 years in a marketing management role, preferably in the fragrance or a related industry. Fluency in English and Arabic is a must.

Job Purpose
The Marketing Manager will lead the charge in expanding our brandโ€™s reach within Iraq. In this role, youโ€™ll be responsible for formulating and executing impactful marketing strategies that build brand awareness and drive growth. This position also involves recruiting and managing a skilled marketing team and overseeing key operational aspects, including supply chain coordination and order management, to support our ambitious growth goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Development: Design and implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote our range of perfumes, essences, and machines, ensuring consistent brand messaging across all channels
  • Market Penetration: Leverage insights into the Iraqi market to strategically position our products and drive local market expansion
  • Team Building: Recruit, build, and lead a talented marketing team aligned with our growth trajectory
  • Campaign Management: Oversee the planning and execution of creative campaigns, product launches, and promotional events that resonate with Iraqi consumers
  • Supply Chain and Order Management: Collaborate with supply chain and production teams to manage product inventory, ensure timely order fulfilment, and optimize supply chain processes to meet marketing demands
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with production, sales, and other departments to ensure integrated and cohesive marketing efforts that align with company goals
  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct regular research to understand local market trends, competitor strategies, and consumer preferences to inform and adjust marketing strategies
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize campaign impact and achieve growth targets
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Track and analyse the performance of marketing initiatives, providing data-driven insights and reporting to senior management to guide decision-making


Requirements

  • Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years in a marketing management role, preferably in the fragrance or a related industry
  • Market Insight: Strong understanding of Iraqi consumer trends and the local competitive landscape
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, drive projects, and execute results-focused marketing strategies
  • Supply Chain Knowledge: Familiarity with supply chain processes and inventory management is an advantage
  • Core Competencies: Strategic thinker with creativity and a data-driven approach to achieving measurable results
  • Languages: Proficiency in Arabic and English is required
