Job Purpose
An organization is seeking a Graphic Design – Marketing Assistant to join its marketing team. The role will focus on delivering graphic design and marketing support across various business lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Suite, and similar tools
- Brand and design key commercial materials, including proposals, programme materials, certificates, PDFs, and notebooks
- Create social media infographics, posts, and images
- Design and adapt brochures, flyers, marketing materials, banners, and promotional materials in PDF and other formats
- Produce web graphics such as banners, images, headers, and buttons for the website
- Create web pages using WordPress or similar tools, following templates and designs
- Update website pages with new information and monitor frequent changes
- Adapt website pages to meet regional market needs
- Manage external suppliers for design projects, including event marketing, partnerships, and other initiatives
Requirements
- A degree or related qualification in marketing and/or graphic design
- Experience with social media, web, brochures, materials, PDFs, PowerPoints, etc
- Be able to think outside the box, keep up to date with graphic design trends and utilize these to innovate
- Project-oriented, well-structured, detail-oriented, good planning skills, meeting deadlines, good level of English and Arabic
- Good level of English and Arabic, other languages a plus
- Passionate about marketing and graphic design
- Independent, innovative, results-driven
- Analytical, numbers-focused, detail-oriented
- A good communicator, this role may involve some client interaction
