Job Summary
A reputable travel management company in Iraq is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer to join its Finance Department. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in financial reporting, cost control, and data analysis, contributing to accurate and efficient financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and statements
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Monitor cash flow, budget tracking, and cost control
- Reconcile bank statements and client accounts
- Support internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and financial regulations
- Assist in payroll processing and coordination with HR
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles
- Strong understanding of Iraqi and Kurdistan tax and financial laws
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Chat GPT, accounting software, and financial systems
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills in English, Arabic, and/or Kurdish
