mselect is looking to hire a Finance Manager – Budgeting and Forecasting for a real estate client in Dubai, UAE. Candidates must have at least 10 years of progressive finance experience, with significant exposure to real estate/property development finance. Fluency in English and Arabic is a must.

Job Summary
An organization is seeking an experienced finance manager to lead and manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis functions within a luxury property development environment. The role requires a certified accounting professional (e.g. ACCA, CPA, or CA) with extensive experience in real estate or property development, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to drive financial strategy and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning to support strategic decisions
  • Develop, maintain, and refine financial models, including NPV, IRR, WACC, cash-flow forecasts, sensitivity and scenario analyses
  • Provide deep insight into project financial performance and investment returns across the property portfolio
  • Prepare and present comprehensive management reports, dashboards, KPIs, and strategic insights to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Lead financial reporting, variance analysis, risk assessment, and cost optimization initiatives
  • Drive improvements in financial systems, tools, and automation (e.g. ERP, Power BI)
  • Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, accounting standards (e.g. IFRS), and corporate policies
  • Mentor and manage a team of finance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/advanced degree preferred)
  • Professional certification (ACCA, CA, CPA) required
  • At least 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with significant exposure to real estate/property development finance
  • Strong financial modelling, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and BI tools (Power BI, Excel, etc) is highly desired
