Job Summary
An international fintech client is seeking a high-performing consultant – consulting and analytics – to support and help lead consulting engagements in the UAE and broader GCC region. The role serves as a core delivery lead and client interface, working closely with senior team members to deliver high-quality, insight-driven consulting outputs. The consultant – consulting and analytics – independently manages project workstreams, structures problem-solving approaches, engages with senior client stakeholders, and ensures delivery excellence across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Consulting, Delivery & Project Management:
- Own and manage end-to-end delivery of assigned consulting workstreams across strategy, performance improvement, and analytics-led engagements
- Structure ambiguous business problems into clear analytical frameworks and plans
- Translate data-driven insights (often developed with a data scientist) into clear, actionable recommendations
- Manage project timelines, milestones, and internal coordination under the supervision of a VCA director
- Ensure consistently high-quality client-ready deliverables (storylines, presentations, executive summaries)
- Serve as a day-to-day client contact for emirates airlines and partnering issuing banks
- Lead working sessions, hypothesis discussions, and progress reviews with client stakeholders
- Communicate complex analytical findings clearly and compellingly to non-technical audiences
- Coordinates across multiple stakeholders, including airlines, banks, and internal teams
- Work closely with data scientists to define analytical questions, data requirements, and interpretation of results
- Help translate advanced analytics outputs into practical business recommendations
- Ensure alignment between analytical work and broader consulting objectives
- Support the director in shaping engagement scope as projects evolve and expand
- Contribute to proposal development, scoping discussions, and effort estimation when required
- Apply VCA methodologies, case studies, and best practices to local client contexts
Requirements
Education:
A bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree is preferred.
Professional Experience:
- Have 4–7 years of experience in management consulting, strategy consulting, analytics consulting, or a similar role
- Experience leading project workstreams and interacting directly with clients
- Exposure to payments, financial services, loyalty, travel, airlines, or co-brand card ecosystems is strongly preferred
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with senior stakeholders
- Strong problem structuring and analytical thinking skills
- Excellent PowerPoint/presentation storytelling skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with senior leaders and analytics teams
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Commercial mindset with the ability to connect analytics to business outcomes
