Key Responsibilities:
- Support in configuration management for ongoing project and future assembly projects
- Support Project design and estimation team for RFQ Inputs
- Document and implement project’s assembly Process improvement
- Responsible for configuration change identification, analysis, implementation and change audits
- Ensuring effective implementation of configuration change processes and procedures
- Responsible for raising technical queries, co-ordination and follow-up with project management team for timely response from customer
- Preparation of EBOM and MBOM
- Preparation PFC, PFMEA and CP documents for sheet metal and machined detail parts
- Preparation of router or job card for sheet metal and machined detail parts
- Create PBOM for raw material and consumables
- Responsible for identification of tools/jigs required for manufacturing of detail parts, bench and sub-assemblies
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering in mechanical background or equivalent
- Strong background in metallic parts processing (machining, sub-assemblies)
- Knowledge in special process, ASA (Certified) Process, PFMEA, PFD / PFC, Assembly and machining manufacturing route
- Advance Knowledge in 3D CAD Software like CATIA V5 or NX
- Able to read and interpret Customer Data (3D GDandT, FTA, Annotations, 2D Drawing, BOM and Specifications
- Tooling Configuration Management
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing and assembly
- Experience in design / engineering change management
- Experience working with boeing or airbus is highly desirable
