Job Summary
Responsible for all patient fee’s payments cycle, and the legal advisors for the due balances not paid by patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing costs estimates for patients based on their treatment needs
- Supervising the correct implementation of the charging process
- Preparing the final patients bills based on the services charged
- Handling the patients’ fees payments cycle with accuracy and on timely basis
- Following up on the patients’ due balance with Patient Access and the Finance Director
- Submitting the cases of the due balances to the legal advisors and following up on its status on timely basis
- Maintain an accurate register of the legal cases related to the patients’ due balances
- Resolving valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries
- Contributing in the monthly closing cycle, and year end closing cycle
- Providing the needed requirements in the audit process
- Managing multiple reporting requirements and ensure deadlines are met
- Contributing to the improve of the charging and billing process, including digitalization
- Assisting with special projects as requested
- Monitors and checks work to meet quality standards

REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Experience:
- 3 years professional experience in accounting, finance or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Computer experience is required.
- Hospital experience is a plus
- Considerable knowledge of the principles, practices and methods of accounting
- Analytical and financial modelling skills
- Knowledge of data processing applications and software as related to accounting
- Knowledge of office administrative and supervisory techniques
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing in English and Arabic
- Ability to operate personal computer
- Ability to review, modify, improve and design accounting systems
- Ability to review, analyze and interpret fiscal records and to prepare accurate and complete financial statements
- Ability to maintain accurate technical operating records and to prepare clear and concise oral and written reports
- Official working hours at the Employer are up to 48 hours per week distributed on up to six days to be determined by the Employer
- The Employer may change these working days and hours, as it deems appropriate in accordance with the applicable Labour Law
