Key Responsibilities
Pre-Production & Planning:
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand campaign objectives, client briefs, and content goals
- Participate in concept development, mood boards, shot lists, storyboards, and visual references
- Conduct location assessments and plan lighting, framing, camera movement, and audio setup
- Prepare and test equipment before shoots to ensure technical readiness
- Use digital tools and AI-assisted platforms for concept ideation, references, scripting support, and workflow optimisation
- Capture high-quality video content using professional cameras and accessories
- Execute a variety of shooting styles, including: Handheld, gimbal, tripod, and cinematic movement; Interviews, testimonials, behind-the-scenes, events, and lifestyle content; Short-form vertical content optimised for social platforms
- Apply correct exposure, focus, white balance, and colour profiles (Log, Flat, etc)
- Record clean, usable audio using external microphones and audio recorders
- Maintain consistency in visual quality across projects and clients
- Produce professional photography for marketing, branding, social media, and campaigns
- Manage lighting setups (natural and artificial), composition, and styling
- Capture a wide range of content types, including: Corporate and brand photography, Product and lifestyle photography, Event and on-site coverage
- Perform image selection, colour correction, and retouching while maintaining brand integrity
- Edit video content for multiple platforms, ensuring pacing, storytelling, and visual impact
- Apply colour correction and basic colour grading to maintain a consistent look and feel
- Add basic motion graphics, titles, subtitles, transitions, and sound design where required
- Edit photography using professional workflows, including: Culling, retouching, colour grading, and export optimisation
- Use both professional editing software and modern creator tools, such as CapCut, where appropriate, for fast-turnaround social content
- Integrate AI-powered tools for tasks such as: Automated subtitling and transcription, Smart editing workflows, Content versioning and formatting, Visual enhancement and workflow efficiency
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of professional experience in videography and photography
- Agency experience or working with multiple brands is highly preferred
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both creative thinking and technical execution
- Experience producing content specifically for social media platforms
- Strong file management, naming conventions, and backup practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working under deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Structured production and post-production workflow management
- Creative thinker with a strong visual sense
- Proactive and self-driven, capable of working with minimal supervision
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Tech-adaptive and open to using modern tools (AI, automation)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for continuous learning and improvement
- Strong understanding of professional cameras (DSLR, mirrorless, or cinema cameras)
- Knowledge of lenses, focal lengths, depth of field, and framing techniques
- Experience with lighting equipment (LED panels, softboxes, reflectors, practical lighting)
- Understanding of frame rates, shutter speed, ISO, and exposure control
- Familiarity with gimbals, tripods, sliders, and stabilisers
- Ability to manage basic audio setups (LAV mics, shotgun mics, recorders)
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (or equivalent professional software)
- Working knowledge of After Effects for basic motion graphics and text animation
- Strong skills in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
- Practical experience using CapCut for fast-paced, social-first content production
- Experience with AI-powered creative tools for editing, enhancement, transcription, subtitling, and workflow optimisation
- Understanding of colour spaces, LUTs, and export settings for digital platforms
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in post-production
- Actively contribute ideas for content, campaigns, and visual storytelling
- Use AI tools to generate creative variations, hooks, and content angles
- Suggest new tools, techniques, and creative approaches
- Identify gaps or opportunities in content and proactively propose solutions
- Work independently while maintaining alignment with creative direction
- Adapt content formats for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook
- Understand aspect ratios, resolutions, safe zones, codecs, and compression settings
- Stay updated with platform trends, content styles, and audience behaviour
- Optimise visuals to balance creativity with performance and engagement
- Use AI-assisted insights and tools to support content performance optimisation
- Drone operation and aerial videography
- Motion graphics or animation experience
- Experience with performance-driven content or advertising visuals
- Knowledge of content strategy, analytics, or paid media visuals
