Job Summary
The Site Engineer is responsible for supporting day-to-day site operations to ensure construction activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and timelines. The role assists with coordinating site activities, monitoring work progress, preparing site documentation, and collaborating with contractors and project teams to support the successful delivery of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities and ensure that work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Prepare daily site reports, including completed works, manpower, equipment, materials, delays, and site observations
- Calculate and verify executed quantities when required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of construction site experience
- Experience on large-scale building construction projects is an advantage
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other engineering software is preferred
- Good knowledge of structural and finishing works
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and site teams effectively
- Familiarity with project quality standards and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations
- Ability to prepare daily site reports and monitor construction progress
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and self-motivated approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required
