mselect is looking to hire a Sales Manager for an FMCG client in Kuwait City, Kuwait. Candidates must have 7–10 years of experience within FMCG marketing and sales functions with a minimum of 2 years in a multinational environment.

Job Purpose
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading sales performance, distribution growth, and route-to-market execution across Kuwait. The role drives the development and implementation of commercial strategies that support revenue growth, profitability, and long-term market competitiveness. Acting as the key liaison between the company, distributor partners, and major customers, the sales manager enhances distributor capabilities through data-driven decision-making, operational excellence, and effective sales planning. The position also ensures the successful execution of key initiatives and product launches while building a high-performing team culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and sustainable business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales (Volume and OCC) & Distribution Targets: ensure that committed annual volume as well as numeric & weighted distribution objectives for responsible markets
  • Develop the relationship with the distributors and grow the business with a mutual-benefit approach through continuous commercial support, monthly meetings, quarterly planning and day-to-day engagement with key stakeholders (Distributors' General Managers and Sales Managers)
  • Prepares monthly volume projections supported by data-driven analysis and shares them with key stakeholders before finalisation, ensuring optimal inventory levels across the organisation, distributors, and customers
  • Oversees the forecasting process in collaboration with stakeholders and monitors supply, production, and shipment clearance activities to ensure timely execution of planned deliveries
  • Responsible for commercial planning, spending and executing. Monitor KPI's and ROI in real time to ensure proactive measures that sustain optimal investments
  • Translate brand and trade strategies into detailed action plans and ensure effective implementation, including new launches, portfolio optimisation, trade segmentation and key account and category management
  • Lead the Annual & Strategic Plan for the next 3 years, covering in-market sales, shipments, commercial budget, new initiatives and RTM strategies
  • Drives the continuous growth of the company's digital presence by effectively coordinating with distributors, digital teams, and customers

Requirements
  • University degree in business administration or any other related field; a master's degree is a plus. Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • A minimum of 7–10 years of experience in FMCG Marketing and Sales functions with a minimum of 2 years in a multinational environment
  • Fluency English & Arabic is required
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP
  • Strong financial, negotiation, and decision-making skills
