mselect is hiring a Project Logistics Advisor for an international oil and gas operator in Erbil. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in oil and gas industry. Fluency in English, Kurdish, and Arabic is a must.
Job Objective
Assist Project with all matters relating to import export of Project -related equipment and materialsKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Liaise with Project Team
- Dealing with EPC Contractor(s)
- Dealing with Sub-Vendors
- SCM function and with external authorities and freight forwarders on all matters pertaining to movement of equipment and materials inward and outbound to / from KRI
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years work experience
- Deep knowledge & understanding of logistics and import / export processes in KRI including ethical customs clearance processes and principles from Contract award, thru’ management and close out of contract(s)
- Excellent levels of written and spoken English, Kurdish, and Arabic language
- Appropriate practical experience in preparation of movement of goods documentation in the oil or petrochemical industries
- Demonstrable general knowledge and understanding of the technologies utilized by oil and gas operators
- Thorough understanding of industry HSE standards and expectations
- Effective and supportive team member
