Job Purpose
- Monitoring contract performance, including key milestones & deliverables, and escalating risks/concerns promptly to prevent value leakage
- Provide input and assist Project Managers (PMs) and PSCM in preparing tenders, contract amendments, responses to formal communication, etc
- Review invoices for contractual compliance
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and contract info
- Review contract-related correspondence and prepare responses in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Review and process contract variation orders
- Prepare contracts and associated amendments as required
- Set up and maintain relevant registers and management reports/status updates
- Assist with dispute resolution, claims management, and negotiation
Key Responsibilities
- Provides ongoing support to CAMs and work requestors on all post-award contract execution tasks, PAAFs, Blanket orders & drawdowns, Maximo DR creation, BOC interface, applying contract rates and any other tasks assigned by management
- Plays a key role in the development of tools to provide CAMs with greater visibility over contract execution
- Engages with CAMs/Finance/PSCM regularly to review contract status/health with a focus on burn rates, resultant forecast burnout dates and premature contract expiry
- Arranged slide decks and is a key participant in the area which focuses on contract compliance, performance, learnings and continuous improvement around contract execution practices
- Provides support and guidance to new employees on organisational processes, procedures, and ways of working with CAMship
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an oil and gas contracting environment
- Experience in both pre-award and post-award contract management is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
