mselect is looking to hire a Procurement Manager for a procurement supplier company in Riyadh, KSA. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or a related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Job Purpose
The Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing the organisation’s procurement activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services without compromising quality. The role develops procurement strategies, manages supplier relationships, ensures compliance with company policies and regulations, and supports cost control and supply chain optimisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's objectives and budgetary requirements
  • Manage the procurement process from requisition to purchase order and delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality and reliability of supply
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best possible deals
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements in all procurement activities
  • Oversee the maintenance of accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier documentation
  • Analyse market trends and conditions to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Lead and mentor the procurement team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance
  • Coordinate with the finance department to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting related to procurement
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential supply chain disruptions

Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Certification: Relevant certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or similar
  • Minimum Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or a related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial role

  • Market Research: Ability to conduct market research to stay updated on trends and identify opportunities
  • Multilingual Skills: The Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus
  • Risk Management: Knowledge of risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions
