Job Overview
A growing construction company in the UAE, with its own in-house delivery team, is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join its team in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day company operations
- Oversee all interior fit-out projects from start to completion
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with good quality
- Manage project managers, site teams, design, estimation, procurement, and commercial teams
- Develop new business and maintain strong relationships with clients and consultants
- Review and approve quotations, tenders, budgets, and project costs
- Control company expenses and improve project profitability
- Monitor project progress, cash flow, collections, and payments
- Manage suppliers, subcontractors, and major procurement activities
- Resolve project, client, and operational issues
- Recruit, manage, and motivate employees
- Ensure company compliance with quality, safety, and UAE requirements
- Prepare and achieve annual sales, revenue, and profit targets
- Report business and project performance to the Managing Director
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field
- 10–15 years of experience in interior or construction projects
- Strong UAE/GCC experience is preferred
- Good knowledge of construction projects, costing, procurement, and subcontractor management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Good commercial and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams
- Strong understanding of budgets, profitability, and cash flow
