Job Summary
The Landscaping MEP Engineer manages project hardscape operations, directing landscaping staff to perform hard landscaping works efficiently while ensuring high-quality standards and safety compliance. Key responsibilities include mentoring staff, operating professional equipment, communicating with clients, and overseeing site preparation, planting, and irrigation tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor crew members, fostering a positive work environment
- Project Execution: Lead day-to-day landscape maintenance, installation, planting, and irrigation tasks, ensuring they meet client specifications and design plans
- Site Management: Oversee safe operation of equipment (mowers, blowers); manage materials; and maintain site safety standards (OSHA/local regulations)
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between crew, management, and clients
- Documentation: Track project progress; maintain records of work; and assist with scheduling or inventory tracking
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred; certifications such as Landscape Technician or pesticide applicator licence are preferred
- 7–12 years of professional landscaping experience, including at least 1–2 years in a leadership role within Saudi Arabia
- Strong knowledge of horticulture, plant care, irrigation systems, and turf maintenance
- Proficiency in operating professional landscaping equipment, including skid steers, chainsaws, and commercial mowers
