Job Summary
The Landscaping Lead is responsible for managing landscaping operations and supervising both hard and soft landscaping activities to ensure efficient execution, high-quality standards, and compliance with safety requirements. The role includes leading and mentoring staff, coordinating with clients, operating specialised equipment, and overseeing site preparation, planting, and irrigation works.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor crew members, fostering a positive work environment
- Project Execution: Lead day-to-day landscape maintenance, installation, planting, and irrigation tasks, ensuring they meet client specifications and design plans
- Site Management: Oversee safe operation of equipment (mowers, blowers); manage materials; and maintain site safety standards (OSHA/local regulations)
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between crew, management, and clients
- Documentation: Track project progress, maintain records of work, and assist with scheduling or inventory tracking
Requirements
- Degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, or Landscape Design (Preferred)
- Certified Landscape Technician or Pesticide Applicator License (Preferred)
- Experience: 7–12 years of professional landscaping experience, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role within Saudi Arabia
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of horticulture, plant care, irrigation systems, and turf maintenance
- Equipment Proficiency: Skilled in operating professional landscaping equipment (skid steers, chainsaws, commercial mowers)
