Profile Summary
The Field Service Engineer is responsible for supporting Customer Service operations across Jordan by delivering high-quality field service activities, providing technical expertise to customers, and ensuring the reliable operation and performance of milling equipment while contributing to long-term customer satisfaction and business growth.
Key Responsibility
- Perform retrofit activities, machine repairs, inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization on flour milling and grain processing equipment
- Service and maintain milling equipment including roller mills, plansifters, purifiers, bran finishers, impact detachers, scourers, separators, aspiration systems, sifters, conveyors and elevators
- Carry out mechanical adjustments, alignment, calibration, wear part replacement and functional checks
- Diagnose machine faults, process issues and operational inefficiencies
- Prepare service reports, inspection reports and spare parts recommendations
- Provide technical assistance, operator training and after-sales support
- Coordinate with internal teams and customer maintenance teams during installation and commissioning
- Support installation, commissioning, modernization and retrofit projects
- Build strong customer relationships through professional technical support
- Identify after-sales opportunities including spare parts, upgrades and service contracts
- Ensure compliance with client safety standards and documentation requirements
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Higher technical education with customer service training is an added advantage
- Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience
- Fluent English communication skills
- Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
- Willingness to travel within Jordan
- Experience in the flour milling or grain processing industry
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Customer-focused with good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a matrix organization
