mselect is looking to hire a Field Operator for an international oil and gas operator in Duhok. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and be fluent in English, Kurdish and Arabic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for bringing wells on line, adjusting flow, recording daily readings and shutting wells down in a safe and responsible manners
- To ensure all equipment at the field sites is in proper working conditions
- Start up, monitor and shut down operational and utility equipment effectively and safely
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize process parameters (Flow) within operating limits and adjust as per requirement from the PF
- Ensure timely readings and production reports are completed at required time
- Ensuring all mechanical and pneumatic devices are in good working condition and properly maintained
- Keeping leases clean and free of debris
- Follow Permit to work system, S.O.P’s, and safety management system that are in place
- Facilitate maintenance but installing and removing isolation as required
Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in hydrocarbon facility
- Experience in H2S locations
- Native Kurdish with good levels of written and spoken in English language
- Understanding of permit to work system, isolation systems and risk assessment
- Professional knowledge of items in essential duties
- Makes effective and supportive team member
