mselect is looking to hire an ELV Engineer for a facilities management company in Riyadh, KSA. Candidates must have 7–10 years of experience in ELV systems management, including at least 3–5 years of experience managing service providers.

Job Summary
The ELV Engineer will be responsible for managing and overseeing all extra-low-voltage systems across facilities managed under the FMMA framework. The role focuses on ensuring that all maintenance and operations performed by service contractors comply with technical standards, performance KPIs, and client expectations. The engineer acts as the technical authority and representative of the FM managing service provider, ensuring seamless system functionality, compliance with regulations, and efficient coordination between contractors and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise, monitor, and audit the performance of service contractors responsible for ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, BMS, Public Address systems, etc
  • Ensure all preventive and corrective maintenance works are performed according to approved schedules, manufacturer recommendations, and SLA requirements
  • Review and approve technical documents such as method statements, maintenance reports, and material submittals related to ELV systems
  • Conduct regular site inspections and verification of system performance, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to quality standards
  • Identify non-conformities or deficiencies in contractor performance and recommend corrective or improvement actions
  • Liaise with clients and contractors for technical reviews, audits, and operational coordination meetings
  • Ensure ELV systems comply with Saudi regulations and applicable international standards
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, inspection records, and performance summaries for management and client submission
  • Participate in root cause analysis for system failures and provide recommendations for long-term reliability improvements

Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Communication Engineering
  • Certification in ELV systems or OEM training
  • FM-related certifications (IFMA, FMP, or equivalent) are an added advantage
Required Experience & Work Environment:
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in ELV systems management, with at least 3-5 years in managing service providers
  • Experience with government, royal, or high-profile facility projects preferred
  • Strong ability to evaluate contractor performance and enforce service level compliance
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple contractors, and maintain professional communication
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Strong understanding of ELV systems
  • Experience in facility management operations with a focus on performance monitoring and contract management
  • Familiar with CAFM systems and asset lifecycle management
  • Technical expertise in CCTV, access control, fire alarm, BMS, integrated control systems, etc
  • Excellent auditing, reporting, and documentation skills
  • Working knowledge of Saudi regulatory and compliance frameworks
  • Ability to interpret schematics, system drawings, and technical specifications
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills with contractors, consultants, and clients
