mselect is looking to hire a Drilling Logistics Coordinator for an international oil and gas operator in Duhok. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of drilling logistics experience and be fluent in English, Kurdish and Arabic.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Drilling Supervisor in day-to-day operation and control of the well site overseeing logistics tracking and on-site inventory control. Attend daily operations call with Drilling Supervisor
- Maintain updated inventory of all company-owned & third-party tools and equipment on location
- Control & organize storage containers on-site ensuring company owned materials are stored and maintained as per OEM recommendations
- Maintain Lifting Equipment Register & Inventory at the direction of the Sr. Drilling HSE Advisor
- Receive all equipment and materials arriving to rig site to ensure equipment has been properly released as per QAQC procedures and matches Master Equipment Lists
- Inspect equipment and materials for damage and report accordingly
- Prepare shipping/delivery notes and ensure trucks are loaded and secured as per Company policy
- Authorize release of equipment and personnel upon direction of Drilling Supervisor
- Monitor, order/receive and record daily usage of diesel fuel for all drilling operations locations. Order diesel based on daily requirements to ensure all locations remain operational. Test diesel upon delivery to ensure quality
- Update and maintain the Daily Equipment Record for all personnel and equipment on location
- Maintain logistics register of all deliveries, shipments & QAQC documents in hard copy and electronic soft copy
- Prepare requisitions through Company “Acquire” system to order materials as directed by Drilling Supervisor or Drilling Logistics Supervisor. Follow up with Supply Chain to ensure they are processed
- Participate in, and conduct as required, Tool Box talks following Company policy
- Coordinate with Camp Boss to ensure all maintenance issues are completed. Ensure Camp Boss maintains an accurate POB
- Supervise & coordinate all mechanical, electrical and labour services hired by Company. Ensure work conducted meets job and safety requirements as directed by HSE and Company policy
- Supervise trucking services
- Assist Drilling Materials Supervisor in requesting quotations and locating equipment or materials from local vendors
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- English, Kurdish and Arabic speaking and writing
- 3 years’ experience in drilling logistics
- Full working knowledge of Rig Operations and Drilling & Completion Equipment
- Crane Safety Operations
- Rigging and Lifting Operations
- Must have experience working in remote areas/locations – high temperatures
- Highly adaptive, proactive
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong Microsoft office competency
- Highly organized and ability to perform tasks and make independent decisions
