Job Summary
The Civil Engineer is responsible for monitoring and following up on the execution of multiple commercial building projects. The role involves supervising the progress of contracting works, ensuring proper workflow sequencing, and preparing structured reports that reflect project progress and performance. The position requires strong technical knowledge of construction processes and the ability to track work execution in alignment with approved plans and schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and follow up on construction activities carried out by the contracting company across assigned projects
- Track workflow sequence and ensure proper execution according to project phases
- Prepare regular progress reports detailing work status, milestones, and the sequence of activities
- Verify that construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards
- Identify delays, technical issues, or deviations and report them promptly
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Attend site inspections and project meetings as required
- Maintain proper documentation of site activities and progress updates
- Monitor overall project progress across multiple commercial projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- At least 4 years of experience in construction projects, preferably commercial buildings
- Good understanding of construction workflow and project phases
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong reporting and documentation skills
