Key Responsibilities
- Checking and controlling the design for the projects
- Preparing the BOQ and determining specifications for architectural drawings, coordinating with the head office
- Develop, review, and update architectural shop drawings as required
- Coordinate with other team members for the coordinating process
- Any necessary redesign of the original designs
- Performing the Ability to work as a leader or member of the design team
- Checking the quality of the work done on site regularly
- Conducting on-site observations of work in progress and preparing site visit reports using various reporting formats
- Ensuring ‘as-built' and latest drawings are filed and easily accessible through a correct filing and retrieval process
- Organise all related drawings in a shared folder (cloud) to be accessed by all relevant engineers when needed
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records
- Prepare and review architectural tender specifications and related technical documents
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture
- Minimum of 5 years of actual site and office experience in architectural design and construction projects
- Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methods, and building regulations
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools
- Experience in preparing architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Ability to coordinate architectural designs with engineering, construction, and project teams
- Strong understanding of site supervision, quality control, and construction practices
- Ability to review drawings and ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable standards
- Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines effectively
- Knowledge of local construction regulations, safety requirements, and industry best practices
- Fluency in Arabic and English is required
