MSELECT is looking to hire an Accountant for a consultancy firm in Erbil, 1-2 years of experience in the same position is required. Fluency in English and Kurdish is a must, Arabic is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare all manual and electronic Treasury payments, checking necessary approvals and ensuring execution electronically or via delivery to bank.
- Maintain Treasury payments logs and ensure new data is updated into the cash flow forecast.
- The Accountant will prepare weekly cash and cash flow reports for submission to Group Treasury office.
- Check fee invoices related to guarantee charges and insurance, record on our schedules and arrange payment in line with terms.
- Validate bank charges and maintain related records.
- Booking SS and PIT payments on Accounting System for all contractors.
- Prepare bank payments orders for all operations, grant approvals, sending to Banks.
- Post bank payments and bank commissions on Accounting System.
- Post bank receipts and remittance advices on Accounting System.
- Post cash transactions on Accounting System (cash payments/receipts).
- Post unrecorded entries on Accounting System (related to Treasury transactions).
Qualifications:
- BA in accounting.
- 1-2 years of experience in the same position.
- Experience working in a Treasury or related Finance function
- Strong attention to detail
- Advanced in Excel skills
- Ability to build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads
