Overview
This training is designed to help current and aspiring human resource managers and staff understand employment laws and regulations in order to deal effectively with labor-related legal issues in the workplace. The courses address key employment law requirements in Iraq.
This course will provide a recap of the Iraq labour law for attendees to gain a better understanding of current practices in the region. Importance of Labour Law.
The purpose of Labour Law No. 71 of 1987 is to involve labor in the process of building the national economy so as to achieve prosperity and improve living conditions.

Training Methodology
This includes group discussions, facilitated case studies, presentations and exercises. In this course different methods of training will be used including practical behaviors in labor courts with analysis of legal articles and explanation then overview on verdicts of the Labour court in real case studies between the labor directorate, employer and labor.
